Vitamin C – Important for healthy growth
Generally known for its positive effect on our immune system, it can be seen as a booster for the defense to protect us from all harmful influences from outside. Adults are exposed to countless bacteria and viruses every day and are very well able to fight them off (mostly unnoticed) in a healthy state.
However, this would be different if we think about our dear little ones in the kindergarten, on the playground, at school or sports club. Their immune system is still developing and the infections, colds, sniffles, sore throats and earaches they have gone through can be seen as a kind of training. An effective support for the hard-working immune system is certainly very welcome and essential.
Less known is that vitamin C is also enormously important for healthy teeth, strong gums, strong bones and cartilage. The skin and even the blood vessels depend on normal collagen formation, which takes place anew every day. Kids Vitamin C provides exactly the necessary basis for these processes.
In addition, it is able to increase the absorption of iron from our meals. Adolescents are very often diagnosed with a (temporary) iron deficiency; sometimes even with prescribed tablet intake. Vitamin C does a great job in preventing or correcting this widespread deficiency.
By the way, vitamin C is considered harmless even in higher dosages. Since it is a water-soluble vitamin, the excess is simply excreted by the kidneys. That’s why we recommend taking this powder in divided doses throughout the day. This is very easy with the enclosed dosing spoon!

Another benefit of sodium ascorbate is the alkaline pH value of 7.8, which actively counteracts an over-acidification of the body.
